Greetings subscribers! My apologies for the long stretch of silence.
My last post promised a steady stream of posts on Leibniz as I finalize my book for Routledge. Regrettably, those revisions have been slow going because I am presently a writer and producer on a $100M Amazon Studios show, House of David, which is in the thick of production. Hence, that show gets first place in my queue and will for the next 10 weeks.
In the interim, I am delighted to announce that after many years of folks prodding me to put my voice into the cultural conversation, I have finally decided to do so. As of yesterday, I launched The Nathan Jacobs Podcast. Links to all major podcast platforms are below! New episodes will drop every Thursday. Check out the inaugural episode, like and subscribe, and spread the word!
Nathan, can you explain the difference between the classical realism that you are so articulately defending and the philosophical view called phenomenological realism?
Excellent podcast. I studied Kant's first critique as a sophomore in college and it ruined me for decades. My brain struggled constantly, like an overworked cpu, to see the way every experience was constructed. I later began to accept a naive realism and my mental health improved greatly.
