Happy Saturday subscribers! I am gearing up for a trip to LA, and I just realized that in the midst of the juggling act, I failed to notify all of you that the latest episode of The Nathan Jacobs Podcast dropped! My apologies. Perhaps some of you have subscribed to the podcast on other platforms, but for those who have not, let me point you in the right direction.
In today’s episode, I offer my last Halloween episode of the year. (Sorry I’m sending this after Halloween!) I discuss the origins of Halloween (are you a devil worshiper if you go trick-or-treating?), explore what the Church fathers say about the afterlife (where exactly is Hades?), and examine some interesting parallels between alien encounters and spiritual realities. As a bonus, I also pepper in some practical wisdom about haunted houses and spiritual encounters. I might even hint at an upcoming episode on the problem of evil.
Speaking of that pesky problem, be watching on Sunday for the next installment of my Leibniz book. You can read the latest installment here.
